The Seaside Summer Jazz Festival has invited Ember and Oak Sessions to close its Saturday night — a headline set of most-loved songs and one-off collaborations.

The ninety-minute set moves from the platinum debut through the new record: Honey & Smoke beside Velvet Morning, Hold Me Close and the festival-only arrangement of A Tale of Winds with special guests from the weekend’s line-up.

Festival director Mara Ellingsen calls it “the set people will talk about on the way home” — and the late slot means the whole harbour glows behind the stage. Bring something warm; stay for the encore.

“A festival headline years in the making — and a set built for that exact sky.”

Chicago fans don’t have to travel: the festival set previews at the July 10, 2027 Lincoln Park concert, with the same band and most of the same songs. Tickets for both nights are in the shop.
