She came to perform and left with the evening’s top vocal honour: Best Female Vocalist at the Harborlight Music Awards 2026.
The nomination recognised a year of sold-out rooms and the forthcoming record From the Soul. When her name was read, the hall rose before she reached the microphone — and her acceptance speech thanked, in order, her grandmother’s record shelf, her band, and “every small club that lets a singer try.”
The night ended the way it should: an unplanned encore. With the house band behind her, she sang the title song of the new album to a standing audience, and the ceremony ran twelve minutes long. Nobody minded.
The full ceremony, including the encore performance, is available to watch through the fan club newsletter. Celebrate with us in person at the July 10, 2027 Lincoln Park concert — the set list now includes the award-night encore.
